Kirsty and Lance got married back in October in St Paul’s Church in Birmingham and held their reception at the Canalside at the Cube. A lovely (but scary to a photographer) touch was releasing the doves by the bride and groom immediately after the ceremony. The reception venue looked quite awesome and allowed me to capture some fun action shots throughout the reception.
There were no picturesque backdrops anywhere near the venue however I think we got some pretty cool shots of Kirsty and Lance just by the canal. So we have… canal, boats, brick walls, bridge and some random people in the images but I do love them. I wonder what you think? Should all wedding photos be taken just with a church or garden in the background? I quite like the idea of using an urban environment if that’s where the wedding is happening. Have a look at Kirsty and Lance’s pictures and let me know what you think. I hope you like them.
